Can a person be predisposed from birth to inflict violence at a certain age? And what if this homicidal tendency was created by someone looking to weaponize genetics?

Germline editing is happening today to make changes to heritable traits a parent does not want to pass down to their offspring. Imagine if, unbeknownst to the mothers-to-be, someone altered the DNA of their embryos to create an evil that no one knew how to stop.

A sperm donation made at a fertility clinic unleashes a genetic curse upon the donor’s offspring, causing them to go homicidal when they turn twenty-five years old. Now, forensic psychologist, Nadine Dyson, must hunt down the scattered offspring on the verge of their quarter-century birthdays to stop an evil that seems predetermined.
