When former best friends Sam and Rebecca reunite at their college reunion, they decide to repair their fractured relationship and start over.

But then Sam finds out Rebecca is dating Adam, a man she’d had an intense relationship with two years ago. She vows to keep it a secret, lest it sever their newly mended bond.

Sam soon realizes she can’t outrun her and Rebecca’s imperfect past, nor can she ignore her and Adam’s desire for one another.

As Sam struggles between loyalty and lust, she realizes that vengeance can make monsters out of all of us.

A new folklore-inspired horror combined with grief and multigenerational trauma will leave you realizing some legends are real.

Terrible things happen on County Road 48 in Palmyra, Nebraska. Laurie Kayvin knows this better than anyone. After her teenage son dies on the road one December night, Laurie is stalked by a shapeshifting entity. Convinced she’s mentally ill, she abandons her family for their protection. Her daughter, Cora, resolves never to forgive her.

After her father’s death years later, Cora returns to the family farm. Her brother’s journals reflect the same visions her mother did, and dread settles deep. But she’s trapped by the snow and cannot leave. Forced to call her estranged mother for help, they realize Laurie wasn’t hallucinating on that road fifteen years ago.

With the aid of a ghost hunter named Frankie, they eventually learn the truth behind the Seven Sisters’ Road legend, that its ghosts stalk and feed on the traumatized. To survive, they must face their biggest fears and the trauma that drove them apart, or they’ll become victims to the road once again.
