Rowan Prose will be publishing 2 anthologies a year:
1 for romance & 1 for horror/thriller.
Unless otherwise stated, we take submissions for these all year long.
This is a great opportunity for new authors to get noticed and published!

Romance:
Rowan Prose/Peridot is actively seeking romance short stories or novellas for their upcoming anthologies. At this time, we are only after contemporary, paranormal, historical, dark, or sci-fi romance, including most of their tropes, all heat levels welcome. We do not want erotic, inspirational, or Amish, so please don't submit those.

Word count requirements are between 5k-20k.

Manuscripts should be 1" margins, double-spaced, 12 point font in either Times New Roman or Arial.

In the subject line, please put your name and story title. In the body of your email, please put a cover letter with credentials (if any), social links, contact info, and a short 200 word blurb.

Horror/Thriller:
Rowan Prose/Sapphire is actively seeking horror & thriller short stories or novellas for their upcoming anthologies. Tales can be ghostly, gory, cult, suspenseful, weird, macabre, & anything in between. We do not want cozy mysteries at this time, so please don't submit those.

*If accepted for an anthology, authors will acknowledge by a signed contract that Rowan Prose has exclusivity to the story for 2 years. Manuscripts will be edited and added to the anthology, with a release date TBD. Authors will receive a one-time up front payment for their story, and a complimentary physical copy of the anthology post publication. There are no royalty payments for anthology submissions. Payment amount for accepted stories depends on word count.
